We kick off our day at 7:00 am directly from your hotel or accommodation in Quito. Our journey takes us through the picturesque Avenue of the Volcanoes, where, weather permitting, you'll relish the breathtaking views of volcanoes such as Pasochoa, Corazón, Rumiñahui, Ilinizas, Cotopaxi, and Tungurahua.
En route, we'll pause to explore the art of the renowned Tigua Painters and marvel at the impact of eruptive phenomena with a stop at Toachi Canyon, where our guide will provide a fascinating explanation of the geological wonders.
Next, we head towards the impressive Quilotoa Crater Lake. In this full-day tour from Quito, we offer you the chance to capture the best photographs from the viewpoint, followed by a descent to the crater on foot. If you prefer, you can directly rent a mule from the owner for $10 for the ascent. If you're feeling energetic, you can also choose to return on foot, taking approximately 1h15min., depending on physical condition.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant before we commence our return journey to the city of Quito, with an estimated arrival around 6:30 pm.
